The Awatere Premiere Rugby team (aka the Tussock Jumpers) played their first game of the season on Thursday night under lights in perfect Seddon conditions, and they won! Bring on the rest of the season.
Like we said, we are such big fans of the team we wrote our name all over their jerseys - and don't they look smart, (see above for a very fine specimen) even if we do say so ourselves.
