Outward Bound Scholarship 2018

We are very pleased to announce that Harriett Wadworth is the 2018 winner of our Outward-Bound Scholarship.

We were looking for a young person who loved Marlborough, who wanted to make a difference in this community and who would benefit from going on this course.

Harriet impressed us with her attitude, her ideas for our community and her creativity.  She also was very clear about what she wanted to get out of this course and she has very positive support from her employers.  

Harriet currently works for Wine Marlborough where she is the Marketing and Communications co-ordinator.  She wants to set up a mentoring system for young people in the industry because she believes there is a wealth of information out there which needs to be passed down, and we look forward to helping her achieve this goal.

Harriet will be attending the 8-day Discovery Course on 7 May this year.
