Child Support Changes

As IRD implement the final stage of the Business Transformation Programme to their online platform, their changes also bring about the transfer of the Child Support system into myIR.
What this means for businesses is that from 1st November 2021 it will be compulsory for employers to deduct payments for returning or newly liable parents’ wages and or salaries on behalf of IRD.
Child Support deduction notices will be sent electronically to the employer & employee.
There are new payment options for manual payers and parents receiving Child Support will receive their payments more promptly.
